HS1 Field Trip

SUP MGA ASO? Hah, see what I did durr? Ok nevermind. So last October 15, our class had a field trip (yaaayy)! We went to the Bamboo Organ in (Daniel Park voice:)"LAS PIÑAS!!!" and we watched Ibong Adarna in SM South Mall, and last, we went to the Philippine Airforce thing.

First, we went to the Bamboo Organ in LAS PIÑAS!!! That place is sooo cool! It kinda reminds me of Hogwarts! The organ itself was cool and it made bird sounds.
Then I asked gum from Julio O because I felt dehydrated (as if chewing gum would do anything). I thought it was mint but turns out, it was soooo SOUR! But whatever, the gum was big enough to make a bubble! Only that whenever I tried making a bubble, my buddy (KRISA) would just keep on trying to pop it with her HAND. Why must you use your hand? It wasn't only Krisa who tried popping it, a lot more people have touched my gum. It eventually tasted salty. MGA HINDI NAGHUHUGAS NG KAMAY.

Then after that, we went to SM South Mall to watch Ibong Adarna! While going up, we were doing the Pancake House dance. It's kind of like the fire drill dance, only better. Well anyway, Ibong Adarna was soooooooooooooooooooo ok lang. Some parts were boring, but some parts were REALLY funny. Especially when Don Pedro and Don Diego tried killing the Ibong Adarna. MAAN, that was funny. Also when Don Diego's horse fell, and Don Diego said "AY KABAYO!!!" THAT WAS FUNNY, OK. While watching, there were a lot of distractions. To my left was Kim, whose head was leaned back and facing the ceiling. I thought she was dead, turns out, she was sleeping. In front of me was Nick. Normally, I'd place my leg on the chair in front of me and the person won't mind. Nick would grab my foot and untie my laces. Really, Nick?! REALLY? Anyway, when Badong and I went to the bathroom, BAD TIMING! Just when we went in, I think they had an intermission. So after about 30 seconds inside the bathroom, lots of kids (not really kids, students) ran inside the bathroom. Badong, Kim, Sweet and I tried to get out safely, but I ended up squeezing through sweaty people's backs. We went out and didn't even finish the play.
When we went out, it was so noisy and there were so much j3j3mons. They were staring at us while we were walking. It was so awkward but cool.
Then we went to pancake house. I was with Krisa, Sweet and Kim in the table. Oh yeah, I accidentally spit out pancakes at Krisa by accident! Too much laughing!

Then we went to the super boring Air force thing. It was boring 'cause there wasn't any tour guide and we had to figure stuff out by ourselves. Plus, we've already been there when we were Kinder 2.
Josh kept on yelling at wax figures, telling them that Jesus loves them and that they should turn Christian...yup, that's pretty normal.
Okay. OH, THIRDY D WAS TURNING INTO A FISH. Anyway, we didn't stay long. We only stayed there for like 20 minutes then we left.

Well, the trip home was okay. We watched Evan Almighty and for some reason, I was soooooo tired.

Just so you know, I started writing this blog about 3 weeks ago, and I am still not yet finished.

When we reached fort, it was pretty quiet. I took a short nap, until someone yelled, "YEAH! CLUB EWAN!!!"
I opened my eyes and saw that the movie was finished and there were colorful lights in the bus. It felt like I was hallucinating or something. Well, everyone was dancing and singing loudly. I wasn't. I just sat there and... did nothing.
Heh, ok. We went down from the bus and walked to school, Marge and I pretended to look drunk and wasted.
Too bad I left early. At least I was able to sleep in the car.
Ok. -end-

ps..
I've been writing this blog for a month and I finished it just now.

Hai October, hai

Well, time flies so fast, doesn't it? September was probably the shortest month I've ever experienced. I mean, I've only written 6 entries for the whole month! Compare that to last August, I wrote 14 entries. Well anyway, I haven't been blogging for 2 weeks(?) I was supposed to blog about something last week, but I forgot to. Right now, I have a LOT to write about, so I'll try to fit those stuff all in one entry.
Btw, sorry for not much entries. To be honest, I'm running out of ideas to blog about!
Anyway..
-I'll start off with what happened about 2 weeks ago. So, 2 Fridays ago (I think it was the last day of Dress Up Week), we went to Ange's house. It was me, Krisa, and Badong (Cley) who went. We originally planned to do "fun stuff." I think what Ange meant was like, to play board games and such. So, we arrived Ange's house and Krisa saw the pool and said, "Hey, let's jump in!" Which gave Ange the idea to make us swim. Then I was forced to swim, but it was fun :-bd
One of the things I remember from that day was when Krisa said, "HEY! LET'S PLAY RESCUE RESCUE!" Then we're all like, "...what?" Then after that, she said, "LET'S PLAY MERMAID MERMAID." Seriously?
Sadly, I got sick the next day. :(

-Ok, moving on.. DOCs! Probably my most hated thing this school year. So, we have a DOC for Science and History. The science DOC is becoming a problem for me 'cause... elements are hard, ya know? Plus, I don't do powerpoints. On the other hand, thank God I have groupmates in History.

-MY FREAKIN REPORT CARD. Lemme tell you, I just received THE lowest average I've ever gotten in my entire life. And my Art grade, omg. Why is it so low?! And the character thingy, I got a big 'ol 2 for everything. sdhkjahdshdkjad

-Good news, IT WAS TEACHER'S DAY! Last Tuesday to Thursday (September 28-30), higher-leveled students volunteered to teach classes to the lower grades. Sofia, Thirdy R, and I taught Science to the grade one class. THEY WERE SO CUTE OMG ADHKJSHFJLHD
We also had a program last Thursday that made some teachers cryyy. It made me appreciate what the teachers do every single weekday. Especially the ones that teach our class. I realized how hard it actually is to handle a class! I mean, the 1st graders were already kinda hard to manage ('cause of some people who keep standing up without permission), and I can't imagine how hard our class is to manage. So, THANK YOU TO ALL THE TEACHERS OF VCIS! It must be really really hard work, so thanks! >:D<

-Another one was Marlo's partaaayyy! It happened after school last Thursday. It was at the rooftop of the building where Dimsum 'n' Dumplings was. We went to his place at around 3:15(?) and went to the roof top. The place was OWSUM. The view from up there was so nice, and the place had a bar.
Alex, Jeff, a hacker dude, the teachers, and Thirdy R came while we were in Dimsum. The basketball dudes with Ange and Lystra came around 4.
Some of the teachers had a "dance showdown" with Cley. =))
At around 6, there was a DJ that arrived and he started setting stuff up. (You should've seen Thirdy R, he was sitting quietly and observing the DJ)
I left around 8:30pm. THEY SAID I MISSED CLUB EWAN. I don't know how to react.

AHFKJHBENDITAJKHJSKJFAHSKD
Ok, so I know if I stop here, this entry will be bitin. But it's 11:36 pm now, and I started writing this last FRIDAY. Today's Monday and there aren't any classes tomorrow! I'd love to wake up in a rainy morning. :p Just sharing.
OK THANKS!

Too much of anything is... too much!

Okay, I am seriously going to explode. Being a high school student is harder than I thought it would be. Yeah, it can be fun sometimes, but it totally makes time go faster.. in a not-so-good way. Why faster? With all these homeworks and projects, you have almost NO time left for yourself. Time goes by so fast, and you barely did anything yet. Instead, you waste your time blogging and ranting about it, just like what I'm doing now. I'm supposed to be writing an article for reading and writing, but turns out, MY PARTNER (you know who you are) wouldn't send me the video of all our interviews. I was supposed to write the article yesterday so that I can rest today 'cause I'm sick, but noooo. I'm doing homework on a Sunday again. ;___;

I know, I shouldn't be worried. God knows what to do. I just pray that by the end of the day, everything will be done.
I just found out that tomorrow's already September 20. Next week, it's the Filipino talumpati. Oh gosh.
Plus, we have 2 DOCs. Science and History. God, help me.
Seriously, I don't know if this is too much work, or I'm just not used to it. Anyway, I'll keep this blag, I mean blog, short. No .gif, sorry.
*sigh*

I need a donut.

Dress Up Week

Yesterday was the last day of the VCIS dress up week. We students had to dress up differently for each day of the week. Here's what we had to do:

-For Monday, we had to wear hip socks! Meaning, colorful, mismatched, ABNORMAL socks. I wore my black & white toe socks. It wasn't colorful, though. My creys~ :'(

-Tuesday, we had to dress up as athletes! ~i wuz a sk8er dewd, bro~

-Wednesday, dress up as what we wanted to be when we grow up. Mine was pretty obvious, but my outfit didn't make sense if my guitar wasn't there. I was an indie musician/record producer/band manager/REBEL. I'm so ambitious 8->

-Thursday, we had this weird, wacky hair day, whatever you call it. My hair was like Sierra's and Hayley's combined (according to Sopya). Kewl bro, kewl. :-bd

-And Friday, it was pajama day! I wore pajamas. Duh. But HS-1 and the G7 eventually had to change for PE.

Ms. Katie chooses a winner and gives them some sort of Australian candy. I forgot what it was called but people said it tastes like puto and taffy.
I brought my acoustic guitar to school last Wednesday, and left it there. I completely forgot to bring it home yesterday. Now my guitar's sleeping over for another 2 days in school.

But hey, at least Thirdy R and I were finally able to jam to "1985"! We've been planning to do that since LAST SCHOOLYEAR, and we were finally able to do it last Wednesday.

Yeah, GO PEOPLE WHO AREN'T GOING TO PASAPRISA!
Here, have crabcore!

Music (overused topic, but whatever)

Here's the deal.. I haven't written anything about how I feel about music. Call this entry cliche, I'll still blog about it anyway. Okay. If you know me well enough, you'd know that music practically means EVERYTHING to me. I know, I know, it sounds so overused.
Most people think of music as "a bunch words with a tune and a melody." Come to think of it, it actually is. But that's not what I mean. What I mean is.. how does music play a roll in your life? What does it mean to you?

Well..
Music to me is happiness. If there wasn't music right now, I'd be dead. Well, not really dead. I'd be lifeless. I wouldn't be what I am right now. Music keeps me going. If I'm not playing guitar, I don't know what I'd be doing. I wouldn't be the enthusiastic person I am right now.

Josh Montgomery, guitarist of The Summer Set, said, "Music is my life : ). Music is the only thing that makes sense in this world."

That's exactly how I feel, Josh. When it feels like all my hope is lost, I listen to music. In fact, I'm sure a lot of people do!
Last summer, it felt like nothing made sense anymore. I don't know why, but I hated it. What did I do to make it stop?
I put my earphones on, listened to some Fall Out Boy, and ate chocolate. It worked.
It's true. Music can change one's mood. Having a bad day? Listen to music to get your mind off of things. It works every time.

And NO, this post is not meant to be "emo."

Usually, when I'm sad, I listen to sad songs... which makes me even more sad.
Bored, I listen to instrumentals. Or anything, actually.
Angry, I listen to SCREAMO or slow songs. Weird.
Stressed, I'd probably listen to Christian rock, like Casting Crowns or Switchfoot.
Happy, I listen to anything!
But sometimes, I just listen to whatever I wanna listen to!

"Music puts everything you wish you could say into words and melody. Music takes the moments you'll never forget and makes them permanent."
- Stephen Gomez, bassist, The Summer Set

"Music is... organized chaos!"
- John Gomez, guitarist, The Summer Set

“Music = Freedom”
- Gabe Saporta, singer, Cobra Starship

Music is more than a chord progression and a catchy tune. Some people write music 'cause it's pretty much the only thing they can do.
Music isn't just entertainment. For some people, like me, music is like my own personal therapist.
Worship songs make me calm down. This way, God speaks to me through music.
Yes, praise and worship is one of the best things in the world.

There's this music video; it's by 30 Seconds To Mars. The title's "Closer To The Edge."
This, by far, is probably the best music video of 2010. I don't know if you agree, but this is just amazing. You'll know why when you watch it.

If the video doesn't show up, you can click here to watch it. If you're watching it, be sure to watch the whole video. Trust me, you'll love it. Okay, maybe not, but.. you get the point.

Well, that pretty much ends everything. I just hope I didn't bore you or waste your time. It was YOU who decided to read this anyway. I just had to let it all out.
Plus, I've written down another thing on my bucket list:
Write at least ONE original song.
'Yall should also have this.

OK THANKS FOR READING! BYE!

Epic day was epic

As you can see from the title, this day was AWESOME. If yesterday sucked, today rocked. First, I wore my GK shirt! I was wearing it like a boss B-)

Second, our group (me, Thirdy D, James, and Jed), BISCUIT COKLAT CHIP won the debate against Oreo! Their arguments were good, btw. Good job, guys. :-bd

And third, we had a surprise pizza partaaayyy for Ms. Laylabaloooo! It didn't last long, though. Well, I contributed 100 pesos for 1 slice of pizza. I'm not complaining!
I'm glad it went as we planned. Actually, Thirdy just told us about it during PACE time the day before!

IT WAS AWESOME. During R&W class, physically fit couldn't help but talk about it. She also skipped most of art class 'cause she was busy exercising, running up and down the stairs. PEACE, DUDE.
Well anyway, Ms. Layla was totally surprised when we brought the pizza in and started singing "Happy Birthday" right after her class! Then, *GROUP HUUUG!* :')
After that, we prayed for the food, and the pizza disappeared in less than a minute.
I attempted to get 2 slices and tried to hide behind a desk so that nobody could see me. Turns out, I heard someone say, "HEY, YANA GOT 2 SLICES!"
When I heard that, I was like, "sdhfkebjikfhdbvkjhv OMG I'M DEAD."
Then, just as I was about to bite the 2nd slice, Sweet said, "HEY, SOFIA WASN'T ABLE TO GET." Yeah, I was nice enough to give her that slice of pizza.
Physically fit brought the soda in. It was on top of my desk, so after a few people got their drinks, I got the bottle and brought it to a different desk. Julio O. spilled some root beer on Thirdy R's charger, that's why.

Before Ms. Layla left the classroom, she told us that she's been praying for a ~*surprise*~. She was expecting a different ~*surprise*~, but our ~*surprise*~ was great too. Awww!

GOD IS JUST AWESOME, RIGHT?

A lot of people left. They took pizza, and left. Can you believe that?! Well, I was in the mood for partaaayying.

It all started when Marge told me to go in front of Ange's camera and start dancing. WE FIST PUMPED, OH YEAHH. Marge was even holding a cup with soda in it while dancing! It felt so... club-ish.

And then I started acting all tipsy 'cause I didn't usually drink soda. Then Thirdy R. played music.. which made me fist pump some more!

If you weren't there... this is what it sorta looked like.

Pretty crazy, right?
Who were there? NONE OTHER THAN THE REBELS! *RRRRREEEEBBEEEELLLL*
Not all of them were dancing, though. It was mainly me, Sofia, Marge, Cleyanne, Ange, and Thirdy R who were dancing. MAAANNN WE WERE HYPER! After too much fist pumps (with a bit of headbanging), I got a headache. I WAS SOOO SWEATY.

Now, I have the right to have the shirt that says, "Sorry for partying" :P Seriously, there's a shirt like that.
Well, seriously... THAT WAS FUN. Let's do that again soon, ok? :-bd Christmas Partaaay? Ok. AWESOME.

Well, it was math class after the partaaayyying. I was too tired to understand what was happening. And then we had a super kaduper short Science class. Nurse Abby came in late, so I played JAMLEGEND(!!!!) while waiting. Can you believe... I got a 98% on Canon Rock on Insane mode? That's the highest percentage I got for Canon Rock on Insane!

Then dismissal. PRESH WUZ THERE! Then I played goodminton (I'm so corny, omg).
After that, Thirdy R & I jammed to "That's What You Get"! YIZZ, I finally know how to play the whole song on drums. :P Awesome Yana is awesome. And I finally played guitar in school for the first time in 2643871264931864913648736493186493146913846038467319864.75 years!

Thanks to this day, I'm starting to love high school.

8th September

Can I just start off by saying that THIS IS DAY IS JUST... UGHH!!! Okay, so this day started off HORRIBLY. My dad woke me up around 5am and asked my why my window was opened. I was like, "Huh?" Then he told me his cellphone was missing. So was his wallet.

So I looked at the window, and I saw that the window didn't have any glass on it anymore. The window blinds were also up. I went to my parents' room, and the files of my dad on the drawer of the PC table were messed up.
Ok, so it's like this... my PC is blocking part of my window, so it's kinda hard to enter my room through the window. You have to be about Sofia's size to fit. PLUS, right under my window, my 2 guitars were there. My electric was on the guitar stand on the left near the PC while my acoustic was right beside the electric, leaning against the TV stand.
When I woke up, my electric was leaning against my acoustic! Then my dad asked me, "Yana, where's your phone?" So I checked the TV stand 'cause that's where I usually place my phone. OMG IT WASN'T THERE. So YES, MY PHONE GOT STOLEN. Not only that, but also my brother's PSP. I'm 100% sure it was a kid who broke in. That kid needs Jesus. Yeah, he/she went in my parents' room, and ignored the Technomarine watches.
Then dawn came. It was about 6am. I looked out the window... it looked like the thief wanted to get the Pokemon cards, but I guess he forgot it. He left it lying on the roof. He also left my dad's wallet lying on the roof. I guess he didn't find anything interesting inside. :))
Whatever, I should stay positive. Die in a fire.

Oh my gosh, I know I shouldn't be saying that just for a phone, but... UGH!!! I left for school, and the police were in our house. My dad wanted the SWAT team to come, but I told him not to 'cause it was too OA if he does. Plus, the SWAT's useless... The day was just getting started.
hfkasfdhkadhsadfhksadhhsadjh

My brother didn't go to school 'cause he's really sick. It's so weird.
PACE time was okay. I got pitik in the cheeks 'cause I said, "TITASAWERR" (idk how you spell it)  to teacher Cecile.
Anyway, school was fine. We had new seating arrangements :-bd
Now, I'm with Thirdy R, Cleyanne, and physically fit! Some people were upset about their seats, though. Sorry, guys. :'(
Well, we didn't have math time! It was cool to take a break. We had Pastor... Mark... (was it?) in class.
Then I played badminton. Now my calves hurt.
Guess what, guise? I'm still wearing my uniform! It's almost 9pm and I'm still wearing it. I'm itchy.

On the good side, MY GK SHIRT HAS ARRIVED! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HAPPY I WAS WHEN IT CAME.

man, look at how many people care

OH YEAH! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MS LAYLA(BALOO)!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAYY...  HAAAAAAAPPYY BIIIIRTHDAAAY TOOOOOOOOOOO YOUUUUU(piyok)UUUUUU!!!

HERE YA GO. PETER GRIFFIN DANCING TO "BIRD IS THE WORD"

September

Well, well, well, water we have here? HAHAHA GET IT? Oh, you don't. Well.. it was worth a try... Anyway, it's September already! I know, I'm late. Why? Well, my dad isn't allowing me to use the internet on Mondays-Thursdays, unless I need to do a research that's due on the next day. UNFAIR, RIGHT? Considering the fact that I'm already a Freshman. I'm already a Freshman, and my parents still give me a bedtime (that I do not follow). Well, I shall save my rants for next time. Anyway, I wasn't able to blog yesterday.. not that I wanna blog everyday or anything like that. I just wanna give a quick recap of what happened while I was gone.

- PACEs, obviously
- my finger got caught by a locker
- I lost the papers inside my History folder
- "OMG MARE!!! 3, 2, 1... FOREVER 21!!!"
- I was able to make-up for the History exam
- I thought the "Y-chart" was supposed to look like a Philippine flag
- we watched Ms. Universe
- in P&P, we answered the question, "What is one big mistake that you've made in your life, and what can you do to make it right?" it was so awesome hearing people's stories. So, so heart-warming... and Jeremy was crowned Ms. Philippines. I'm so proud :')
- ▲I drew triangles in art class▲ o0o0o0o0o0o it was fun. By fun, I mean DISTRACTING. I couldn't stop drawing triangles all over the paper.
- Thirdy R. and I switched lunch. I gave him my lunch money, he gave me his super kaduper good chicken!!! We're doing that everyday now :-bd

Plus, today, we had debates! Chips Ahoy vs Oreo! That was THE most fun debate I've had in a long time :))
Biscuit Coklat Chip ftw!
We played soccer during PE. It was owsome.

Anyway, happy Yana is happy because I finished the Self Test in Science! I celebrated by playing "A *PARTAAAYYY* Song"
BUT, while I was answering in the learning center, Jed and Ange went inside and their lips were bleeding! All because they were playing basketball with beasts! Cleyanne was injured, too. :))
Well... I feel bad for them though.
That pretty much ends everything. Here, have a Gaskarth.

OMG LOOK AT HIS SHIRT ON THE 2nd .GIF! And look at my banner thing. Look at his shirt again! And look at the banner!

Araw ng Nosebleed

So, today is August 31. It's a Tuesday and I wore casual clothes for school. Why? Well, it was the celebration for Araw ng Wika or Linggo ng Wika or Buwan ng Wika... or whatever it's called. Basta, it's "something ng Wika."
Hahahahaha ok. I actually don't speak Tagalog that well. :| You hear me speak in Tagalog, and trust me, those are the only words I know. I copy my yayas lang. I'm so sorry :'(

Well...
Today was pretty fun. We had games, and food, and lollipops. YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH GAMES, FOOD, AND LOLLIPOPS, RIGHT? Yeah, the games were fun. Luksong baka was the BEST. Only that... it was pretty hard to jump, you know? My jeans were killing me! Then we played a game in the classroom. I dunno what it's called, though. And also in the classroom, we played Marco Polo!
Then we played Agawang Panyo. It was fun, but it was so freaking hot! Like, I was totally sweating!
And then some people went up to the classroom, then we had hot chocolate and PANDESAL. I ate only 4 pandesals because T. Cecile didn't allow me to get more. /wrist
I memorized the verse BUT I wasn't able to recite it to T. Cecile! PLUS, I failed the History Exam.

OMG KILL ME NOW!
I'm just kidding. :-j But really, I failed. :(
Well, I'm gonna study for History now.
Don't mind this. It's just spam. B-)

The Saturday after the exams

Oh how I love Saturdays. Especially when it's right after the exams! Right now, it's around 7:50pm. I'll probably finish typing this at like 8:30 or something. Well anyway, today was supposed to be a Grade 7 batch 09-10 reunion. It turned out to be a hangout instead. Pshh, it was just the 4 of us! It was me, Maxine, Trixie and DANI! Well, at least I got to see Dani again.
Anyway, I was supposed to go there around 12nn, but I went at 3 instead because I woke up around 12:30pm. I was up watching Funemployed on Youtube. So yeah, I went there at 3 and we attended the youth service in Galleria. I FINALLY MET SOMEONE NAMED CHELSEA! I've been wanting to meet someone named Chelsea since last summer vacation! I dunno, it's just a catchy name. It's so cool :-bd
I spilled hot chocolate all over my hand, and for about 10 minutes, I couldn't feel my hand.

And then I forgot what we did after that. Oh yeah, we went to Timezone. I'm taller than Bianca Dy! What an accomplishment! Then we watched a movie. It was okay. I had to leave around 30 minutes before it ended. Now I'm home. This entry is short.
Now I'm watching all the episodes of Funemployed. It makes the time pass, you know? Oh look, it's now almost 9pm and I'm still writing this entry. Well... that's all. I'm so boring now.

DATS SO RAVEEEN!!!!

"Safe little house, safe little friends, safe little thoughts to keep you safe."

Well, don't mind the title. It's just a line from my LSS. ANYWEIGHH..
Hai guise :-h
I am here, sitting down awkwardly thinking of what to type. See what I did there? I just made a sentence. Ok cool.
It's been raining the past few days, and can I just tell you... THIS IS AWESOME. I love it when the weather is like this. It makes everything so laid back and it's like you just wanna sleep for the rest of the day. That actually happened to me. I got home around 1:45, and I sat on the couch. Yeah, the lights were turned off so it was kinda dark and gloomy-sh. So yeah, I sat on the couch and I watched junior baseball on ESPN. I have no idea why baseball makes me sleep all the time. I love watching it though. Anyway, my eyes started closing and before I knew it, I was sleeping already. I constantly remember dreaming about the exam.Oh yeah, Sopepe was there. And she was singing "Boys Boys Boys" by Lady Gaga. "WEE LAV DEM."
From time to time, I woke up and heard the rain outside. I was thinking of something like, "Oh haii Ondoy. You're back. What a surprise. Is PENGPENG with you? Oh.. wait, I'll sleep." Yes, I'm serious! I remember saying that. And I also remember laughing at myself for saying that.
Then I woke up 'cause I heard my phone ring. Good thing it rang or else I'd still be sleeping until now.

The exams today were okay... except for History. The map thing was kinda easy, but the rest of it wasn't. I forgot what the gigantic flower was called. And for Filipino... I GOT PATA. Then I saw a picture in my head of a pig doing a thumbs up, so I kept laughing and I couldn't take anything seriously =))))
But I'm not yet done with the oral test 'cause teacher Cecile said "TO BE CONTINUED."

Then it was dismissal. Good thing I remembered to get my shoes from my locker. Then we went to dimsum & dumplings. I forgot to bring my bag with me. My dad picked me up around 1:35 or samting like dat. We went back to school to get my bag but... I FORGOT TO GET MY SHOES. So now, I don't know what shoes to wear tomorrow 'cause I'll be wearing my PE uniform. And I hope they don't burn my shoes, or throw it away, or puke on it, or give it to the orphans. Well, they can give it to them with my permission but... sghdkjasgdjk
Well, I guess this post is very long. OH, I REMEMBER NOW! WE USED WHITE PAPER FOR THE EXAM!!!
Ok, ignore what I just said. I shall give you a bopping parrot (or whatever bird this is)

8/24/10

HI IT'S ME. Admit it, you love reading my blogs. :>

OKAY! So yeah, I'm back. Hi. Here's the deal, my dad picked me up too early from school (he picked me up at 3:30!). Now I have nothing to do but study. I decided to blog first 'cause blogging is cool \m/
So yeah, I had a post, it was a list of my Top 10 Lead Singers.
The #1 on my list is Patrick Stump. Patrick Stump is in a band called Fall Out Boy (duh). So, I wanted this post to be all about Fall Out Boy!

First of all, I've known Fall Out Boy since I was in the 5th grade. Yeah, when I was still 11 years old, you can hear me in the hallways singing "Dance, Dance." I was already cool back then B-) HAHAHA JOKE.
Anyway, last year, they had a concert here. Twice. One was last year, and the first time they went here was last 2007. I'M TOTALLY MAD AT MYSELF FOR NOT COMING TO BOTH! You know why? They're on a hiatus right now. A hiatus is sorta like taking a break from something.

Someone posted something about this and my reaction was like

except I wasn't smiling. Then I was like, "you're kidding right? hahahaha! you're funnyyyy"

Then last February, I saw a post about Patrick going solo. I was like, "meh, they're just trying to find a way to kid with me." And then I went to Patrick's website and saw a video saying that Patrick will be touring all over the United States ALONE. I was like

"IT'S FREAKIN' REAL?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!"

And then a few months later, I found out that Pete started a new band called "BL4CK C4RDS" in that spelling.
I was like... PETE'S MAKING A J3J3MON BAND? They better be joking! But then... Pete confirmed it on his Twitter. I was like

Pete, what is this you're doing?
I thought they disbanded, but they were just on a hiatus. Well, it's better than a break-up!

I realized how much I love this band. They have a song for every possible mood. Like, the song for my mood right now is Coffee's for Closer's. "I WILL NEVER BELIEVE IN ANYTHING AGAIN! CHANGE WILL COME, OH, CHANGE WILL COME."
I've heard rumors about Fall Out Boy reuniting next year. I just hope it's true. If it's not true, I will cry.
Like, really cry.

skjhdksahkjh
You know what I miss? Not their music. I can listen to their music anytime. I miss the feeling of waiting for their next album. Like, countdowns and stuff. I miss watching new interviews. I miss  hearing Pete's jokes, and them telling us to wait for their new music videos. And oh yeah, Patrick looks totally different now. He lost a lot of weight.

This is him before:

And this is him NOW:

Not bad, actually. HAHAHA :>

Okay, that's all I have to say. I will now leave you with an unamused gif.

August 23 Hostage Taking

Ok, so this will be another serious post. I'm gonna talk about the hostage taking that happened yesterday in Quirino Grandstand. First of all, HOW EMBARRASSING IS THIS?
An ex-cop named Rolando Mendoza (fired because of drug-related issues) thought he could get his job back by starting a hostage with Hong Kong tourists. Luckily, some people were freed at various times. Even the bus driver (Filipino) managed to escape. How serious is this? We were on BBC, CNN, and it was a Trending Topic on Twitter!

[click for credit]

That right there, is the bus where Rolando Mendoza was in when the hostage happened. According to Joseph Tung, the people in the bus were people aged between 4 and 72. They were scheduled for a 3-day tour with Hong Thai travel, and were set to leave earlier that day. Now thanks to Mendoza, for sure, they won't be coming back here. How is this going to affect our country? The tourism level will totally go down. People would be scared to go to our country.

Like... BANDS! THINK OF THE BANDS WHO WON'T GO HERE JUST BECAUSE OF THAT HOSTAGE! I HATE MENDOZA.

At the end of the day, 7 Hong Kong tourists were killed. Just this morning, 9 were confirmed dead.
My complaints go to the PNP and the SWAT. Yes, they tried to do something to end the hostage. Actually, someone shot Mendoza in the head. Good, he deserves it.
A very painful, bloody death. He deserves to die in a fire... alone. Okay,  let's pretend I never said that :))

Anyway, about the SWAT who came later that day. Why the heck would they just stay outside the bus? WHY CAN'T THEY JUST GO IN, THEN *POOF* HOSTAGE IS OVER? I guess not.

SWAT - Sana Wag Akong Tamaan
Come on! When you die from that, you die for your country!
The hostage started around 9:30am to around 8:30-9pm. Think of the people who are scared to death inside that bus. Think of them, scared to death, for almost 12 freakin' hours.

Anyway, did you see that dead body near the bus door? Yes? No? Well, if you did, that was Rolando Mendoza's body. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA >:)
Well, some people are now ashamed to be Filipino. I'm not.
I'm ashamed that someone like Rolando Mendoza is a Filipino.
After the hostage, I THANKED GOD THAT THERE WERE SURVIVORS! Yes, there were survivors, but think of how this event will haunt them for the rest of their lives! It would be horrible if you're one of the tourists, and you look back on this event. Now, the way they see our country is screwed up.

If only... if only Kris Aquino was there. All of the attention would go to her!
I'm kidding.

Okay, this ends my blog for today. I will probably be back this afternoon to post about something else. SORRY, I HAZ NO GIF RIGHT NOW.

God Bless the survivors. God Bless the family of the people who died. God Bless the Philippines.
This has been a post.

Top 10: Lead Singers (According to me)

HIII. So for reading and writing class, we had to make a  Top 10 list of ANYTHING. I decided to make a Top 10 list of Lead Singers. This is just my opinion, so if you have any complaints or violent reactions, you are free to do so. :))
Click the photo for the credit.

10. Brian Dales (TSS)

Okay, I originally didn't plan to put descriptions after the picture, but I felt like I wanted to make a looong blog. Ok, so, Brian Dales! The lead singer of one of my favorite bands (as of now), The Summer Set. Some people get really annoyed of his voice, but I realized that without Brian, The Summer Set wouldn't have a uniqueness in it. The best thing about Brian's voice is that it works well with female singers. On a song called, "Where Are You Know?", he sings with a girl and OH MY GOSH, IT WAS AWESOME.
Since their band covers Taylor Swift songs a lot, his voice is amazing in "Fifteen."

9.  John O'Callaghan (The Maine)

You should just listen to this guy's voice. It's the type of "maarte" voice that isn't even maarte. I don't know how that's possible, but you'll understand what I mean once you listen to him sing.

8. Nick Santino (ARTTM) & Brendon Urie (P!ATD)

LOOK! It's a tie between Nick Santino (guitar) and Brendon Urie (piano)! First of all, Nick and Brendon's voices are far from each other. Nick has a mellow, cool, and soft voice, while Brendon has a lively, thick, energetic voice. I love both of them equally. Nick's voice suits soft rock, pop and cool songs while Brendon's suits alternative, pop-punk-ish songs.

7. Gabe Saporta (Cobra Starship)

GABE SAPORTA! He's number 7, not just because of his voice, but for his stage presence! Seeing him sing AND perform on stage is just AWESOME. Gabe's voice is so unique and energetic that you can't even understand (in a good way). In Tagalog, his voice is so unique and energetic na hindi mo maintindihan. Because of Cobra Starship, I started liking synthpop music. You should really listen to the voice of this guy who looks like Jason Dalafu.

6. Alex de Leon (The Cab)

Listen to Vegas Skies, and you'll know why he's on my list.

5. Martin Johnson (BLG)

Another one I chose because of stage presence. Whenever he doesn't need to play anything on the guitar, he grabs the microphone and starts singing to the crowd (duh), but what I mean is that he just doesn't stay in one place. He actually walks around and goes to the audience and looks at them in the eye. He connects to the audience (I sounded like an American Idol judge there).
Other than that, Martin's vocal range is UNBELIEVABLE. In the acoustic version of "Thunder," you won't believe that it's actually him singing both the verse and the chorus. In the verse, it sounds like a different singer (with the low voice and all that), but OH MY GOSH, THE CHORUS IS SO HIGH. Same thing with the acoustic version of Hero/Heroin. Okay, so moving on.

4. Sierra Kusterbeck (VE)

I don't know why, but I was so, so, so, so excited to write this part about Sierra! SIERRA KUSTERBECK!!! SDKAHJDKSDJK
First, to clear up everything, she doesn't sound anything like Hayley Williams. She sounds NOTHING like Hayley Williams. Her voice is thinner, and softer compared to Hayley's, but once she starts hitting those high notes, it's just amazing. Plus, when she does those falsettos in "Stranger," it just makes you wanna play that specific part where she does the falsetto over and over again. It's soooo cool.
You should see her head bang on stage! Her hair goes all over the place.
There was one time that while she was singing, she just awkwardly dropped the mic on stage. Not because of crazy moves or anything like that, but the mic just fell awkwardly while she was standing up. She easily recovered from the embarrassment and put on a great show. It was pretty funny, though.

3. Alex Gaskarth (ATL)

Oh gosh, his voice is so @)
It's one of the nicest male voices I've ever heard. Alex has such a beautiful voice, it's impossible to not like it. Probably, his voice sounds the best in "Therapy", "Remembering Sunday", and "Lullabies."
Another thing that I love about him is the lyrics. The lyrics that he writes are just as beautiful as his voice.
"I'm a walking travesty, but I'm smiling at everything."
"Give up and let go, I'm just a boy with a dream and you can take one look as I fall in between."

2. Hayley Williams (Paramore)

Haha, you knew this was coming, didn't you? Oh... wait... you didnt? Ok then.
Well, HAYLEY FREAKIN' WILLIAMS OF PARAMORE IS HERE!!! AND SHE'S IN THE #2 SPOT!!! How cool is that?
Anyway, I mentioned Sierra Kusterbeck earlier. Sierra's voice is slightly higher than Hayley's. They sing in different ways, too. Sierra sings like she's telling a story while Hayley sings like she's arguing with someone. Don't get me wrong, I love Hayley's voice!
THAT HAIR. Even iHair (our P&P product) made a signature edition spray for her!
She's pretty much the only girl who can carry ALL hairstyles in ALL colors.
Her stage presence is also so hdjkahdkas unbelievable. I've seen her head bang on stage last March 9, and it's just super kaduper dhksadjhk awesome.

and nowww....

1. Patrick Stump (FOB)

Everyone knows that Fall Out Boy was my favorite band. It was, it will, and it will still be my favorite band. I'm so cliche.
Anyway, the reason I chose Patrick is because his voice has a certain uniqueness in it. It's like you can't find any other voice like that. Get this, he never even had singing lessons. Look at him now.
Another reason why he's #1 on my list is because the words he say aren't understandable, yet you can understand it. Do you get me? No? Okay.
For example, in "Sugar, We're Goin' Down," he meant to say, "We're goin' down, down in an earlier round." But instead, it sounds like, "We're goin' dooownn tuhhh in a luleeyuhhrahh."
But whatever, it still sounds beautiful to me even though you can't understand what he says. Fall Out Boy wouldn't be famous right now if it wasn't for Patrick and his voice. That's what I miss from them (they're on a hiatus right now). Ok, I think I should stop now. This isn't even a list anymore. It's more like, "Yana's dramatic band frustrations" or "Yana's attempt to be as dramatic as she can"

Anyway, that ends my list. I'm tired and sleepy, so I now leave you with *PARTAAYYYY* gifs.

OKAY BYE!

On the second thought, I won't rant here.

Originally, I wanted to post all my rants here, but I don't wanna get in trouble. I mean, what if my parents see my blog? I'm dead. Maybe I will, from time to time, but not as often as I expected to.
Anyway, I just wanna post the FUNNIEST fight my sister and my brother had.
Alex is my sister's name, btw.

So I finished taking a shower, and I was playing guitar in my parents' room. My mom was downstairs watching TV. All 3 of us were upstairs.

Alex: Kuya, help mo 'ko sa Lego
Aidan: I don't want. I'm gonna play xbox.
Alex: PLEASE, KUYA!!!!
Aidan: I DON'T WANT NGA!!!!
Alex: Sumbong kita kay mommy.
Aidan: ATE YANA, O. SHE'S FORCING ME TO PLAY WITH HER.
Me: Play with her na. She's always playing with you nga whenever you have no kasama eh.
Aidan: blahblahblahblah. I'm gonna play xbox
Me: *ignores*
Alex: Ate Yana, sabihin mo nga kay mommy na inaaway ako ni kuya.
Aidan: Whatever, Alex.
Alex: *walks away* PANGIT MO.
Aidan: Shut up, Alex.
Alex: TAE! *goes out*

Aidan: Alex is so weird.
Me: TAE! *goes out*

Now they're playing Lego together. I have such weird siblings.

In all this chaos, we found John Gomez!

Remember when...

Our class used to be 2 separate batches?
The two classes always fought against each other?
I used to obsess over WWE?
We had a warning chair?
We had an auditorium?
Paramore, Boys Like Girls and Fall Out Boy used to be unknown?
We used to LOVE HSM and Hannah Montana?
We used white paper instead of recycled paper?
Science wasn't a major subject until grade 3?
We had the big and the small playground?
The big playground was covered with stones?
We still had the playhouse?
The quad used to be an awesome garden?
The canteen was in the 3rd floor?
We used to play tetherball?
There was a small basketball court and a big basketball court?
Someone would say, "What the heck" and we'd be all like, "*GASP* Shame on you! That's a bad word!" or something like, "HALA, You said 's-t-u-p-i-d'! I'll tell you to teacher!"
We used Audibles in YM?
We used Multiply?
Kleid had a goatee in Grade 6?
BJ brought a "Pogi kit" all the time with him?
Ken would always be the leader?
We used to annoy Bea with the song "Mad World" all the freakin' time? Good times...
We had a dance or a skit for every occasion?
The Jonas Bradders existed?
We didn't have PACEs?

Our school was called VCS?

Never forget.

^Kewl, I'll start using that now.

8/18/10

Hey, it's Yana. I know some of you are getting sick of me blogging every.single.day. Some people don't even like blogging. I DO. Blogging's pretty fun. I did see so much people exploring my blog and reading my entries. But I'm just wondering... WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS COMMENTING? /rage
Thanks for having the time to read them anyway.
OKAY. So I shall talk about the day. Today was the last Wednesday in the quarter where our class will do PACEs. I have one Filipino PACE left to finish for the quarter. God, help me. We still have PACE time on Monday, though.
Anyway, during History class, I was super kaduper shdjkadhka HYPER. I dunno why, but I kept on laughing at certain things. Ang babaw ng kaligayahan ko. AND, I finally found out about the story of the Sierra Kusterbeck.. I mean.. the Sierra Madre Mountain Range! You remember the person who fell from the 6th floor in Shang down to the 2nd floor? Yeah. Siya pala yun. That's why when you look at the mountain range, it looks like a woman lying down.

THIS WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER.

Ok. We decorated the room again. Cool story, bro. Oh yeah, our commercial's finished B-) It's kewl.
Thirdy, just please edit the radio ad. Ok? Ok.
So yeah, I'm nervous for tomorrow. We will improvise like a ninja.
Well, today was fun. Especially when we started messing with the paint and putting it on our faces.
Math time... k, I understood the lesson. That's it.

*sigh* Tomorrow's Thursday. I find it weird that the days pass by so fast. Next thing you know, it's already November or something. But whatever, as the days go faster, the earlier the school year will end. \:D/
That's all I can say.
Well.
this has been a post.

^ That's totally how I feel right now.

Charice Pempengco & Botox

Hi, I'm back. BAHAHA. I said I'll be ranting about something. This doesn't seem like a rant though, 'cause I'm not that disappointed.
At first, I wasn't sure whether to blog about President Noynoy's website and how he's not allowing the j3j3M0hwnHNzZ to type the way they do in his website or Charice and her freakishly huge cheeks. I chose the 2nd one.
BUT, if you have any complaints to Noynoy, you can email him at http://dearnoynoy.com/
I spammed him once :P
Anyway, about Charice *botox* Pempengco. She's 18 years old, yet she looks like a 30-year-old. Why? All because of BOTOX. For those who don't know what botox is, it's some sort of chemical that gets injected in your face to get rid of wrinkles. If she continues to do that, I guarantee you, she'll look like Madam Auring in a few years.
Apparently, she had botox just for Glee. COME ON! You know what botox does to you? When you grow older, the more your cheeks will sag! Saggy cheeks are gross.
I heard in Rated K (yeah, I watch that), Charice's NINANG, Dr. Vicky Belo did the botox thing herself. No offense, but if I had a godchild, I wouldn't make her look like Madam Auring.
I know she's Filipino and all, but...

To be honest, I never really liked Charice. Well, I kinda did because she's Filipino and all, but now.. eh?!
Okay, this is kinda off topic, but I'll just give some facts about her on Glee.
-Her name is SUNSHINE
-She's an exchange student from the Phils.
-She's against Rachel
-Finn, Kurt and Mercedes likes her
-She sings a lot

Okay, first... SUNSHINE? Are you kidding me?
Second... what if Glee fans don't like her? How embarrassing...
Third... No wonder she wants bigger cheek bones!
Fourth.... Well, at least she has friends
Fifth... Duh, why was she in Glee the first place?
I don't mean to sound like I hate Charice. So, sorry for that.
That ends my "rant" for today. Be back tomorrow!

I should really stop putting those. I might run out.

8/17/10

K, so I just got home from school a few hours ago. Today was obviously better than yesterday. We (finally) started decorating the classroom. Today was pretty normal, I guess. Our group just finished filming our commercial. All I have to do is edit. But no worries, editing is easyyy... except when you're using a Mac. I don't use Mac. iMovie is freakin' hard to use, but whatever, I figured out how to use it :P HAHAHAHAH I'm so yabang.
The rest of the day was kinda okay.
OH, AND I PASSED THE SUPER KADUPER FREAKIN' HARD HSKDJHASKDH QUIZ IN MATH. I HAVE A HIGHER SCORE THAN JIREH. I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF NOW.
Ms. Babette was explaining the answers while I tried to listen to her. BUT, since Kuya Mario kept on putting small pieces of paper in my hair, I couldn't. H8 you, Ange.

Decorating the classroom after school was fun. After editing part of our commercial, I finally tried to help decorate.
I painted "DAVAO" on the newspapers posted on the wall... 4 times. IN 4 DIFFERENT COLORS!
After most of the guys left, Jed and James were there.. So I played music.
*With the taste of your lips, I'm on a ride. You're toxic, I'm slippin' under.*
Then I walked around the classroom 'cause there was nothing left to do.
Oh yeah, I also poked Cleyanne with a pin. Peace! It was an accident... or was it?
Anyway, I feel so un-hygienic right now. I'm still wearing my uniform, and I've been writing this for 2 hours now. I just type, then stop. I blame Tumblr and my short attention spa-- OOHH LOOK, A WATERMELON.

Anyway, I'll be writing another blog after this. Well, it's more of a rant, actually. So, thanks for having the time to read this. Btw, I started writing this at like, 5pm. It's almost 8 now. Okay, this ends my blog.

Don't you just love the gifs I put at the end of my blogs? Yeah, me too.

8/16/10

So today is a Monday. Yep, first day of the week. I've always hated Mondays 'cause you'd have to be dragged out of your room to not be late for school. But whatever, I was late today.
This morning was just like any other Monday. Today was probably the most boring day ever.
PACEs, then we had our break. "WE LOVE OUR BREAD, WE LOVE OUR BUTTER, BUT MOST OF ALL, WE LOVE EACH OTHER"
Then we had History. We had to present our cute little Taal Volcano drawing. I drew the sun :P
Then R&W time which my arm got ipit 'cause of my lappy. Then I wrote this entry.
Lunch time was pretty boring too. I dunno, something just seemed different that day.
Math time.. ugh, don't even get me started on math! Math was crazy. Period.
▲▲▲▲
Man, triangles are probably the coolest things on earth, but dang! They're so hard to solve. We have this super kaduper freakin hard sfhkajhdfkah quiz. Plus, it took up the whole Math time. We didn't have any time to talk, that's why it was so boring. The last page of the math quiz was the hard part. I figured it out when there was 2 minutes left to finish! Since I had nothing left to do, all I wrote was "▲TRIANGLES ARE COOL▲"
But whatever. At least I was able to do something.
Then came Science time! Well, there was also a quiz, but it was the only time the class got to talk. The quiz was pretty easy. SCIENCE TIME IS FUN. Anyway, after class was okay. I still don't get why people leave school too early. It's 4pm and almost everybody left already! Leaving at 4pm last year was considered "leaving too early." Last year, I used to leave at 5pm. OHYEAHIMSUCHAREBEL.
Anywayy, that was all that happened in school.
BYE!

Ranting

Blogspot. By the name, you'd probably think that "Blogging" is the only thing you can do here. Well, what else can you do? You can rant! Ranting, well, it's kinda like blogging. Ranting is expressing your feelings in a way of complaining. It's pretty much like arguing with the topic you're talking about. Ranting is a great way to express what you really feel about something. For example, you just wanna rant about fake shoes and how annoying you think they can be. Or maybe rant on how unfair life is.
In short, it's the best way to get your anger off of your chest. Just don't react too much. Watch your words.

And I just also noticed that... WOW THIS BLOG IS SO NEAT I CAN'T EVEN. ▲
Also, triangles are cool ▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲

That's pretty much all I have to say right now. BYEEE

*tinypic is being blocked so now I can't put a .gif image. In the mean time, you can have Alex Gaskarth:

Wake up, this isn't summer vacation.

G'afternoon.
So I was up all night fixing this blogspot account. I never knew it took so much work. I stayed up 'till 2:30 am. Oh yeah, I was also on Tumblr! That site keeps me up.
Anyway, It wasn't just me, though. Sofia was also awake at that time. Trixie too. Imagine doing it alone!  Plus, I was in a dark room. Anyway, due to the lack of sleep I got in the past days, I made up for it. I slept half past 2am and woke up almost 4pm. No wonder it felt weird! I woke up a bit earlier and I wondered what was for breakfast. But while I was thinking, I think my thoughts wandered around and I fell asleep again. I finally woke up, so my mouth was dry. Ew. Okokok. I wondered again what was for breakfast. I checked my phone to see the time and...
HOW THE HECK IS IT 3:45pm? ahsdjhsdjhgsj
So yeah, it was almost 4pm, but I didn't get up. I stayed lying down, but I noticed I got hungry so I went downstairs. I ate "lunch" but yeah, I'm still hungry.
During summer, that was actually my regular schedule if we have nothing planned.
Go online until 3 in the morning> Sleep> Wake up, tired and sweaty 'cause it was El Nino, and the heat actually beat my aircon> Take a shower> Go online> Eat> Go online> Eat> Go online 'till 3am> Sleep... then it goes on.
Ohmygosh, I'm such a terrible mess. But anyway, I did my PACEs already. I'm only blogging something to pass the time. I have nothing else to do. Oh yeah, I haven't taken a shower. Ok.
Now my neck hurts.
I chose omegalo-maniac 'cause it's from an awesome song of an awesome band from an awesome world... not really an awesome world.
Other than that.. OMG I HAVE THE NEW ARTTM and HEY MONDAY ALBUMS. Just sayin..
I'm craving for Krispy Kreme. Ok bye.
